More widely known as Marble Capital of the Philippines for its Italian-quality marble products, Romblon lies in the center of the country and is also home to breathtaking biodiversity, pristine beaches and the Sibuyan.
How to get there
You can fly to Romblon via AirSwift from Manila to Tablas. Alternatively, you may board a ship from Batangas port and land in either Odiongan or Tablas. Then, you may take the ferries plying from these towns to the archipelagic Romblon and other nearby islands.
Going around Romblon
Visiting diffferent scenic spots may be done by boat, taxi or tricycle. If you are touring as a group, it is best to rent the transportation for a full day.

Romblon is an archipelagic destinations. Except for a number of tourist spots where only day tours are allowed, there are accommodations in almost every islands.

Bonbon Beach
Perhaps the most popular destination, Bonbon Beach will still surprise of its beauty. A stroll on the sandbar connecting the main land to uninhabited Bang-og Island is worth the visit.
Carabao Island
Accessible from famous Boracay Island, if you prefer a quiet beach time then a day trip to the stunning Carabao Island is for you. If you prefer to enjoy its tranquility for much longer, there are accommodations available close to the beach.

Cresta de Gallo
This pristine island is definitely worth the travel. Arguably the most beautiful destination in Romblon, it is located south of Sibuyan and tourists are required to bring their tent and other necessities should you wish to spend overnight in this paradise.
Cobrador Island
A trip to Cobrador Island is usually part of a 3-island tour, which also includes the beautiful islands of Alad and Logbon. Cobrador Island is the farthest of the three, but definitely not the least. Naguso Beach offers quiet time, and from there you can trek to Tinagong Dagat.

Cantingas River
If you're heading to Cresta de Gallo, make sure to see Cantingas River. The river is Sibuyan Island's main fresh water source. Popular spot for families and board diving is a must-try.
Talipasak Beach
Main access to the beach is via the San Pedro Beach Resort, which includes a small cafe offering drinks and some food. There are also benches and hammocks, and the beach is just as beautiful as Bonbon. If you want a relaxing time while in Romblon Island, this is the place to be.

Romblon Cathedral and Fort San Andres
Complete your Romblon trip by experiencing the province's cultural heritage.
St. Joseph Cathedral have been declared as National Cultural Treasure in 2001. It had witnessed the establishment of Romblon's Christian community and the people's fight against Moro raiders in 1600s.
Fort San Andres was built as Spain's military defense post from Dutch invaders and also Moro pirates around the same time as with the cathedral. It has also been declared as National Cultural Treasure.
